Imagine you wake up one day and find yourself on Mars.
There is no way back home, and you aren’t welcome there.
Days passed by and I spent most of my
time thinking and trying to find a
solution. After a week or two I managed
to mentally solve the issue of not being
able to see my family for a long time
and missing the opportunity to rotate
to shanghai campus. But a feeling was
telling me yet again, this is only the
beginning of what obstacles I will face
on my way towards my goals.
I must admit that it was not all doom
and gloom. I have been surprised by
the amount of support from my friends,
Hult staff and the American people
whom protested the travel ban.
Thankfully, most of us try and learn
from hard times and I learnt that life is
not fair for a reason and the reason for
me was understanding no matter how
hard it gets, I have no choice but to
conquer and continue.
