designer, I’ve been a graphic designer
for nine years, but I can’t for the life of
me figure out how web design works.
This website is very interesting because
it’s just dragging and dropping boxes.
It makes it super easy to design a
website for a blog, a store, a portfolio,
or whatever else you need, and like
Canva, it has several templates that are
easy to personalize and make your own.
This one might not be for everyone, but
when you have a great idea for a start-
up or a blog, this will help you have a
website that everyone can go to, and it
will represent your company in a very
professional way.
So now that we’ve discussed the
technical aspects of the design world,
we should talk about the money. This
is a very competitive world. There is a
huge demand for work and not enough
companies that are willing to hire long
term, so most of the designers I know
work freelance. It's fun and keeps you
on your toes and fresh with knowledge,
but it does make it hard to make long
term plans because financial security is
difficult to achieve. However, with
some luck and a lot, and I do mean A
LOT, of networking, you’ll be able to
land the position you want. This isn’t
specific to only designers; I believe that
hustle is what makes the difference
between people
