was a market there. I decided to merge my passions of beauty products, travel and Africa. I wanted to travel directly to the source in order to partner with local artisans and collectives that make these products and curate country collections and call it 54 Thrones after Africa’s 54 countries. emphasis we place on authenticity, traditional production techniques and working hard to pay our partners their worth is critical for us. HULTIAN: What’s unique about your business? C: We are still a very new company. We started in June 2016, so right now we’re purely focused on producing the best product we can and finding ways to optimize customer experience. C: The beauty product industry is already heavily saturated but what allows us to stand apart is our transparency and the effort we take to curate quality ingredients and build relationships with our artisan partners. I have flown more than 75,000 miles this year alone in order to first-hand meet and vet key partners in our supply chain. The care and HULTIAN: How are you looking for different ways to grow your brand? HULTIAN: What are your future plans and what advice do you wish someone had told you?
