am an embodiment of the Hult
personality: though my passport
identifies me with a particular country,
I am a global citizen. What do I mean
when I say I’m a global citizen? I was
born in Ghana but grew up in Japan.
I
I studied Actuarial Science (Risk Management) in my
undergraduate. Much like other students in Hult, I
moved to Dubai chasing after ambitions and the desire
to unleash my full potential and immerse myself in a
career path that I have true passion in. Fueled by the
drive to become the best me, I came to Hult Dubai
campus with the plan to take advantage of every
opportunity the campus and the program had to offer.
One of the cool things the small Dubai campus has to
offer is the close community consisting of the students,
staff and even some of the alumni. Every professor is
able to know each student in his/her class and career
services know each person by name.
During Module A, programs organized by career
services allowed me to network and even gain interview
for internships in some cases. A good example of this
would be the Nescafe challenge, where we were asked
to form student teams of four people and come up with
a dynamic marketing strategy for Nescafe’s mixes
category in the Middle East. The prize for the winning
team was an opportunity to be interviewed for an
internship with Nescafe. Unfortunately, I was not in the
winning team, but in just two weeks I learned scores of
information on market research and data presentation
that have enhanced my self-value.
I also participated in the Hult Prize competition where
the challenge enabled me to not only come up with
a business idea and model with my team, but an
experience and exposure that sharpened me. Not only
