As a person who is passionate about marketing and fashion, I started L looking for ways to expand my knowledge in those areas. IoT, 3D printing, Wearable Tech, Blockchain and many other technological trends are transforming the way we are living and engaging with our environment. My knowledge regarding this field was limited, but I was looking forward to learning more about it. That is why, one morning early this year, while surfing on the internet, I found the event that mixed all my passions into one. The TECH Fashion Week is the first industry event for tech disruptors and creators, aimed at discovering and discussing the latest developments in fashion, through the lens of technology. This year’s edition, the fifth in its history in the Bay Area, carried the theme "Digital Fashion's Coming of Age" and explored how creative vision and digital infrastructure come together in redefining the fashion landscape of the 21st century. TECH Fashion Week's full schedule of events and workshops featured cutting-edge fashion, design and technology companies, startups and entrepreneurs showcasing current developments from all sectors in the Fashion Tech eco-system. The week-long event included workshops, panel discussions and networking mixers, highlighted the applications of Virtual & Augmented Reality, retail tech, wearables, IoT and sustainability in the fashion ecosystem. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with the innovative and forward-thinking fashion-tech community.
