The building housing King’s Landing Restaurant, according to local lore, is home
to George the ghost. George Stills was a fisherman by day, watchman by night and got
himself killed after refusing to leave the premises after being denied money he was
promised for his nighttime work. He was said to be killed swiftly but not painlessly.
George likes to play with the lights, flicking them on and off, and turn on faucets.
Today, reports of George still surface; some patrons and staff claim to have heard his
footsteps and felt cold spots in the upstairs section of King’s Landing. Sometimes,
customers will challenge each other to see who can go the furthest upstairs before they
get scared.
