The Ford City BIA, along with Drouilard
Place, have begun construction on a new
parkette at the corner of Richmond and
Drouillard. Much of the $60,000 required to
construct the new parkette is coming from
fundraising efforts, such as the Legacy
Brick campaign, or from contributions by
businesses and residents.
When completed in Summer 2016, the
parkette will feature a grassy area, stone
pathway and murals. Artist renderings can
be seen on the Drouillard Place website.
