Parking problems Library strike At the Monday, November 28 council meeting, Windsor City Council voted to evict existing retail tenants at its Pelissier St. parking garage and add to the number of parking spaces currently available at the location. The decision was met with fierce opposition. “It is an irresponsible use of taxpayer dollars to pay $500,000 for parking that is not needed and there is no report to prove the demand. Therefore I am extremely disappointed and I have lost confidence in this council" said, Larry Horwitz, chairman of the downtown BIA.
