Photojournalism has helped me learn a lot about the world. It has impacted me to see things through a new and different lens. I've learned that it does not matter where you are or what camera you have, what matters is who is behind the camera. and the best camera is the one on you. If someone asked me if I've liked photojournalism, I'd say yes, completely.

In November, the class had an opportunity to meet with Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist David Carson. Under Mr. Lancaster's direction, the students have taken dozens of incredible photos and learned life-long skills--judging from the students' work and progress, CDS may have the next acclaimed photographers right under our own roof!

Photojournalism has been so fun. I've learned so much. One thing I have learned about is all the different lenses. We even had a photographer come and visit.
