Josh Hanock
Josh Hanock started his career at Riverview Gardens High School, teaching freshman literature courses. He comes to us from Churchill School, where he taught English and Social Studies. With some great public and independent school experiences behind him, he is excited to be at CDS, where he has the freedom to develop his own exciting, challenging curriculum.
Though he was born in and spent his early years in Hartford, Connecticut, Josh considers South County home. He and his family (wife Beth and kids Liam, 16, and Hannah, 20) currently live in Colombia, Illinois, but he still enjoys spending time in and around St. Louis—especially Soulard, and one of his favorite Mexican food stops--Mission Taco. In his free time Josh likes to make time for movies (especially comedies) and fishing when he can. The family also stays busy with three pets—dogs Wednesday and Brutus, and cat Jack.
A lifelong learner himself, Josh began taking guitar lessons in January.
