On Friday, Oct. 12, CDS students & faculty participated in Chef Matt's Fall Taste Test - the first of four chances this year to sample foods familiar and new, and learn about tasty new ways to prepare them.
For the Fall Taste, all three chefs prepared their favorite winter squash recipes and all three received rave reviews!
Stay tuned for information on the Winter Taste, where students can add one more sticker to their Taste Adventurer Passports. Students who collect all four will receive a special prize from Chef Matt at the end of the year. And remember, tastes are for everyone - not just students who participate in the hot lunch program - and parents are always welcome!
Be sure to ask your child which recipe(s) he or she liked best. Better yet, make them at home together!
