Job's Interview on his story
-Interviewer: Well, it's been a long day for you, how do you feel?
-Job: I actually feel pretty proud of what happened today. I showed my faith in God through worship and pissed of the devil at the same time. Sure he ruined all of my life work, killed all of my servants, livestock and my family. But I pissed him off, I've been waiting for that moment for the longest time.
Interviewer: And in all this you "did not sin or charge God
With wrong" (Job 1: 22-23).
-Job: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1 21-22).
The story of Job
Satan: So basically, I called up my good friends-- the Serbians, and bribed them with 1000 pljeskavicas to kill Job's servants and to take the "oxen while plowing and the asses while feeding" (Job 1: 14-15). Next I set fire to the rain and burned all of his sheep and servants. Now I go to extremes and I actually killed the family of an innocent man. After all this Job "arose, and rent his robe, and shaved his head, and fell upon the ground, and worshiped" God (Job 1: 20-21). Job then said, it’s a matter of trust and keeping faith. I seriously do not understand why Job believes in the Lord, it totally pisses me off.
Sympathy for the Devil?
