Senapati Nakula Samanta Sinhara
Sena Adhyaksh Senapati Nakula Samanta Sinhara ( 1905/1906 -16 April
1938 ) popularly know as Sena Adhyaksh (Senapati) & Commander-in-Chief
of king of Hindol princely state. 'Senapati Nakula Samanta Sinhara'
was prominent figure of the Indian independence movement in Hindol
princely state with the Orissa States Agency during British Raj. He is an
Indian nationalist considered to be one of the most influential
revolutionaries and whose defiant patriotism made him a prominent
Sena Adhyaksh in Hindol princely state
Early life
Sena Adhyaksh Senapati Nakula Samanta Sinhara was born on
1905/1906 in Baghua Sahi, Dudurkote,Hindol in Dhenkanal district of
Odisha. He was son of Ghasia Charan Garnaik (Shardar) and elder brother
of Zamindar Sarbarakar ‘Fakir Charan Garnaik' .
He was grandson of 'Satyabadi Pratap Singh' who was Pragana
Officer & Chief-administrative of king of Hindol princely state.
He was started his schooling and learnt his war knowldege (Yudha
Vidhya) like his grandfather ‘Satyabadi Pratap Singh’ in Khordha, Orissa.
Royal Responsibilities
Being an excellent scholar in education and war knowldege(Yudha
Vidhya) like his grandfather ‘Satyabadi Pratap Singh’ who was the
Pragana Officer & Chief-administrative of king of Hindol princely
state. He was appointed as the Sena Adhyaksh and Chief of the
administration of Army of Hindol princely state on early age of 20 or
21 and carried out his duties till his death.
