The Guided TouR

Nestled in woodland and festooned with ferns and wild flowers, the only sounds

are the river and birdsong.

Bordered by Dartmoor National Park, this intimate idyll feels light years away from urban life, yet is only a 20 minute drive from the coastal city of Plymouth, making travel plans a breeze. Perfect for those yearning for a romantic garden wedding with a stylish, contemporary twist, this eco-luxe venue will delight even the most discerning of bridal parties. Ever After caters exclusively for weddings so couples can be sure that the focus of the day is solely on them.

This beautiful venue is also environmentally conscious and works alongside the abundant natural wildlife. The water supply is from natural springs, which also feed the wildlife ponds, and parties are encouraged to use the free minibus service to transport guests to and from the venue to reduce its carbon footprint. Most of the plants are grown from cuttings while all the stationery is recycled.

The wedding barn is licensed for up to 70 guests. Couples can opt to have an additional awning attached to the ceremony venue to accommodate larger numbers. For couples who are worried their big day will fly by too quickly, Ever After offers the option to hold a three-day wedding. Guests can enjoy a relaxed or formal meal the night before the nuptials, followed by a Sunday brunch on the day

after the wedding, making the most of every second spent in this special part of the West Country.

Venue owner and qualified Wedding Planner Nicola Evans will help each bridal party achieve their own fairy-tale wedding that tells their story, providing inspiration on everything from the flowers to the music and every detail in between. Sharing her home and also the venue of her own wedding, Nicola knows first-hand how to throw a great celebration at Ever After.

Each month we take a tour of one of our amazing venues, to give you the insight on where to host your big day
