Details: Jazz a Juan 2016
Shepp - who made his début at Juan in 1970 - is a socially and politically-committed composer, singer/pianist and poet/playwright. A ‘lord’ of the saxophone he’s a living legend, too, on a par with the likes of Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane.
