Infinite and alluring, two words which perfectly describe the sensational beaches of the west coast. Les Sables d’Olonne in La Vendée with its vast curve of pristine beach is charming and authentic. St Jean de Luz in the Aquitaine offers a magnificent sandy bay. Plage des Dames on Ile de Noirmoutier, which is an island just 20km long, is well known for its sandy inlets and pine forests, the beach here is famous for its painted beach huts and yellow sand. Grand Plage in Biarritz is the place to be seen on the south west coast, surrounded by magnificent views which are sublime.
