Synopsis: 'Finding our Voice' is a touching film about three African American teenagers who set out to save public education. Alarmed by increasing high school drop out statistics, apathy amongst their peers toward education and the fact that no one around them could not define what are Human Rights, Khadeja, Cheyenne and Betty decide to make a documentary. The film examines the reasons for the failing educational system and presents their solution to create hope and promise for education's future.

To demonstrate the strength of their approach, the girls intervene in the life of a terribly unmotivated student, Nick, who has succumbed to drugs and alcohol to see if they can help make a positive change. Will Nick turn out like Betty's brother, who got mixed up in gangs and drugs? Or will he be re-inspired towards his goals and future?
