HOMEOPATHY

Can you say Homeopathy without Anxiety?

Does anxiety really come from fearing and feeling the uncertainty of meeting our expectations?

Do we feel anxious only when we are unsure of the future? From where then does a 2 year old’s stranger anxiety arise? Is it rational fear? Does everyone experience the same symptoms of anxiety? No, they do not. Doesn’t that make the term “anxiety” hard to comprehend?

One of my patients recently ended up in the emergency room and was seen for sensations of a rapid heartbeat, even though there was no increase in her pulse. As well as feeling unable to think and experiencing some sweats, she was feeling faint but had perfect balance upon neurological exam and normal blood work. All these symptoms even though she is planning a European vacation and has had no stress in her life. “I am actually more relaxed than I have ever been” she shared in one of her visits.

Does anxiety happen randomly? Does it catch up with us?

We know clinically that patients who suffer from depressed mood, obsessive personalities, bipolar and personality disorders, also tend to suffer from anxiety. The frequency of anxiety is also higher in patients who have a close relative with these issues. So, anxiety runs in families. Does this mean that anxiety a learned behavior? Is it based on physiology? Does one’s genetic composition play a role? Perhaps.
