Salvation Through BORN AGAIN his parents, He felt ashamed 1 as never before. 5 All his sins in childhood and studying days were coming to his mind clearly. 6 For the first time, he realized that he was a great sinner and that his heart was filled with wickedness, iniquity and pride. 7 His friends told him that he was a good man 2 . His parents told that he was a wise son. 8 His school teachers 3 told him that he was a clever student. The religious leaders titled him as a great devotee. The world called him as a respectful man 4 . 9 Anyone not knows his true co- ndition except himself and the living God. There was a godly sorrow in his heart - 10 Oh God, forgive me. I am confessing for the first time that I am a great terrible sinner. 11 Is there any forgiveness and atonement for my sins? As he was depressed in his heart, his attention was drawn to twenty and fifth verse. 12 God, the consuming fire, says - I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, according to 1 Rom 6:21; 6 1 Pet 1:23. 2 Mic 7:5; The Salvation Is The GIFT Of GOD 126 3 My will. 13 I will not remember your sins. As he heard this, which is beyond man’s understanding, and worldly, works laden put away, peace 5 came and filled his heart. 14 He realized that fear, unrest, discouragement left him. He praised the Lord. 15 After fifteen days, I heard a voice saying - you are mistaken by reading the lifeless letters 6 . 16 Who can forgive your sins? 17 Again all his joy was left. He came to the former condition. Then again he said - 18 Oh invisible God, if you are alive and true God, if you speak through the Bible, show me your grace upon me and forgive. 19 Grant me peace and joy. Sa- ve this wretched man. 20 In the year of nineteen ninety eight, January thirteenth morning at six o’clock, he was reading the gospel of Matthew on his knees. He stopped at ninth chapter second verse. 21 God, the consuming fire says - “Son, Be of good cheer. Your sins are forgiven”. He heard this small still voice and under- Jh 13:13; 4 Jh 7:7; 5 Jh 14:27; Salvation Through BORN AGAIN stood it. 22 The young man’s heart was filled again with heavenly peace and joy. He read and meditated that chapter for many times. 23 When the Creator called him as “son 1 ,”there was no limit to his joy. God, the consuming fire, spoke to him in sixth verse. 24 The Lord spoke to the young man that Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins, so that you may know it. 25 The young man kept one mo- re doubt before God. Then the Lord said “Those who are well have no need of a physician, 26 those who are sick, for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance”. 27 Even though those words are spoken by t he Lord two thousand years ago, yet when He spoke to him once, those words echoed twice. 28 After three days, he confused that same strange voice, which spoke to him in the past, was trying to put unbelief and disco- uragement in his heart. 29 On eighteenth of same mon- th, he read the Bible on knees. He prayed ‘Gracious Father,ta- 1 Mt 9:2; 2 Lk 5:32. 127 The Salvation Is The GIFT Of GOD lk to your servant once again.” God, the consuming fire said - 30 I came to call 2 the sinners for repentance. God revealed His will to the young man. Until a man comes to Jesus, the true friend; his worldly friends say that he is a good man. After he comes to Christ, his friends accuse him as a bad man. When a young man, who is under parent’s care, comes to Christ and stops all the activities of movies, wine, strife, immorality, parents will accuse and persecute him. They say that he is not our son. They expel him from the house. When their son was wat- ching movies and drinking before coming to Christ, they appreciated him. But when he comes to the true teacher, Jesus Christ, his school tea- chers scold him by saying that he got into a worse religion. If he does whatever the Christian religious teachers say, he will be called as a devotee. But if he starts living acc- ording to God’s word, they say that he is rebellious. They expel him from fellowship groups. If a person com- promises with traditions and sinful habits, people would appreciate him by saying that he is a respectful man. But if the same person leaves the traditions and sinful habits, he is accused by the world that he is not a respectful man. Yet the man who is Born Again (the one who is considered as not impute sins by
