and will He not make it good?
55 It has a seal that - there is no
enchantment against Jacob, nor
any divination against Israel. It
now must be said of Jacob and

62 Prophet Samuel humbled

74 Is not the scripture asking –
is it not you, O God, why cast us

not go out with our troops?
75 If your son does anything
wrong, would you give him to

76 If your son violates your

Similarly one asks in another

why did you deliver us into the
hand of our enemies?
77 As God goes out with His
people, or shall fight for them

they won many kingdoms of
enemies and oppressed gentiles

79 but here the Lord of hosts is
not going out with His people,
and not working for them and
preparing for the war. There-
fore,
80 the Israelites lost the war
with their enemies and made
God’s promise vain.
81 II We read that Samuel said
to Saul that – you and your
sons will be with me tomorrow!
82 Saul died four days after he
