Salvation through Born Again
74
7 What the Holy Spirit has spok-
en regarding you – because the
daughters of Zion are haughty,
and walk with outstretched necks
and wanton eyes, walking and
mincing as they go, making a jin-
gling with their feet.
8-10 Therefore the Lord will
strike with a scab, the crown of
the head of the daughters of Zion,
and will uncover their secret
parts. The jingling anklets, the
scarves, and the crescents; the
pendants, the bracelets, and the
veils; the headdresses, the leg
ornaments, and the headbands;
the perfume boxes, and amulets,
11 the charms, and the rings; the
nose jewels, the festal apparel,
and the mantles; the garments,
the purses, and the bags and the
mirrors; the fine linen, the turb-
ans, and the robes.
12 And so it shall be: Instead of
a sweet smell there will be a
stench; Instead of a sash, a rope;
Instead of well-set hair, bald-
ness; Instead of a rich robe, a
girding of sackcloth; and brand-
ing instead of beauty.
13 They will fall by the sword,
along with their women. What the
prophet Isaiah spoke about you
The Salvation is the Gift of God
will go in vain?
14 II O church, how will the
women in you enter into the
kingdom of glory when their
uncleanness is high and their
impurity spread everywhere like
flies fall upon dung?
15 Can the women come into
the church of living God with
lipsticks? Will the women who
profess to be Godly, wear hear
ornaments and expose?
16 Who applied color to her
face and lips? Is it not Jezebel?
Why did she do that? Is it not to
commit adultery with Zimri? Is
it not only to seduce him?
17 Can the women who claim
to be holy and virtuous, apply
colors to their lips, hanging bea-
utiful bags to their shoulders, and
walk with outstretched necks
and walking and mincing as they
go enter into the church of Holy
God?
18 O church, where is Christ’s
holiness in you? Such women
wear high heels and walking and
mincing in a style which cannot
be written,
19 can such women say “I too
am a Christian, I too have taken
baptism, I too give offerings to

God?” Is such a woman a Chri-
stian? Is it called baptism what
they have taken? Are their offer-
ing’s acceptable to God?
20 We write these things to put
such women to shame. Can such
a woman come and sit on chairs?
Are the chairs in the church for
old aged or for women of wanton
eyes? OK, one more issue –
21 What about your ear lobes?
What about your nose lobes?
Will the prophecy of Isaiah wor-
thless?
22 Will you escape from the pr-
ophecy of Ezekiel through whom
Holy Spirit spoken: they put a
jewel in their nose, earrings in th-
eir ears and provoke me – still
further to anger?
23 He brought against them who
killed their young men with the
sword and had no compassion
on young man or virgin, on the
aged or the weak; and though
they cry in my ears with a loud
voice, I will not hear them. He
gave them all into their hand?
24 You take children and stitch
their ears and noses, make them
wear gold rings,
25 you hid preachers who are
praised and pleasing by men, can
The Salvation is the Gift of God
such preachers be in you?
26 Such preachers misinterpret
the word of God by asking –
“Has not Eliezer given a nose
ring to Rebekah and God reve-
als through prophet Ezekiel that
– he put a jewel to her nose and
ears? What about that?”
27 But what such person should
know is - God spoke those wo-
rds regarding the Israelites.
28 What does the making who-
le to nose and ears teach us?
29 Making holes reveal losing
them, isn’t it? Making holes to
nose and ears figuratively teach
us that they are unable to grasp
smell; ears are hard of hearing;
unable to understand with their
hearts?
30-31 In this regard it is written:
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
nor have entered into the heart
of man the things which God
has prepared for those who
love Him” and for the hearts of
this people have grown dull.
And with their ears they can ba-
rely hear and their eyes they
have closed; lest they should
see with their eyes and hear with
their ears and understand with
their heart and turn.
