Salvation Through BORN AGAIN Heb 1:1,2 - (1) In the past means: the time before the Lord came to this world. (2) At many times:- It is the time period in which God spoke from Adam to John the Baptist. It means that God doesn’t have a time line to speak to a man. But rather, He can speak during the day or night or in any other condition or situation. (3) In various ways:- This part is so important. It is the responsibility of God’s children to know about the ways in which God speaks. If God’s children know the ways of God’s communication, they will have many dangers. If we observe carefully in the Holy Bible right from Genesis to Revelation, we understand that God spoke to men in four different ways. First, God spoke directly with a voice. Secondly, He spoke through the visi- ons (Visions are two types). Third, He spoke through the Holy Spirit. Fourth, He spoke through the Word. Fifth, indirect method. If God determines to speak to a man, he only can hear the voice of the Lord. There are many evidences for this in Gene- sis, Exodus and Acts and in many other books of the Bible. There are many occasions in the Bible where God spoke directly. There are many evidences that God spoke through visions in Genesis, Exodus, Daniel, Acts and Revelation. There are man- y occasions in the Bible where God spoke through the visions. Also there are many occasions in the Bible 14 The Salvation Is The GIFT Of GOD where God spoke through the Holy Spirit. The Lord said in the book of Revelation for seven times that let him hear who has the ears what the Spirit says to the churches. There are evidences throughout the Bible that God speaks through the word. Because - that Word is God according to John 1:1. The same Word became flesh (literally) and was born on the earth accor- ding to John 1:14. In the first method, God speaks both with a sinner and a saint. In a example, Paul in Acts 22:9, David in Psalm 34:4, and Samuel in 1 Sam 3:4,6,10. In the second meth- od also, God speaks with a sinner and saint. Exemplary Joshua in Zechariah 3:1-5, Cornelius in Acts 10:3, and Ananias in Acts 9:10. But in the third method, God speaks only with a saint. The Holy Spirit, who lives in a believer, speaks with him in his inner being. Exemplary the Holy Spirit spoke to Paul in Acts 21:11, 16:8. In the fourth method, God speaks definitely with a sinner, saint and all those who can underst- and God’s purposes. Ex: the incide- nts in Isaiah 8:20; Acts 13:47. Be- yond the fifth methods mentioned above, God speaks indirectly in two methods. They are 1) through Bible reading and preaching in the fello- wship (Ex. Neh 8:8,9) 2) through the surrounding situations (Job 38-42 chapters) (4) God used prophets and priests as mediators to speak to the Israeli- Salvation Through BORN AGAIN tes through five methods (with Urim and Thummim method) mentioned above. (5) Our forefather’s means - Paul spoke to his people and reminded about their forefathers. (6) It means the five methods and two indirect methods mentioned above. (7) In these last days:- It means that before the final judgment upon the men. Son means that He is the living word which God gave. In the above five methods, the first two methods are reduced and the third method is the word mixed with the Holy Spirit. Urim method we can’t find out now. (8) Spoke with us means - which God spoke to Israelites and the men who are in the purpose of God. This is the foundation for God’s speaking. CHAPTER 6 THE prophet Daniel said - “In my vision at night I looked 1 ” 2 The apostles of Jesus testified 2 about this. This is the second method in which God speaks. 3 The saint’s sense organs are inspired 3 by the Holy Spirit. The sense organs are entire being falls into the trance 4 . 4 II Do not be deceived. The dr- eams cannot become the visions. All the visions reveal the mys- teries of God. 5 Beware that those, who are 1 Dan 7:2; 5 Acts 28:27; 2 Acts 10:19; 6 Rev 2:29. 15 The Salvation Is The GIFT Of GOD called as the preachers in the people and who sleeps till late in the days as hibernate, like bear may not divert you out of the way by saying that the Lord spoke to me in a dream. 6 Beware that no one may de- ceive you. Those who sleep till late in the morning will become poor. And those who accept their advices will become even poorer. 7 Again we exhort you in the Lord – the dreams cannot be- come the visions. Let the reader understand it. 8 II This is the before the last the God is speaking through His Spirit. Paul said that “the Holy Spirit says through Isaiah 5 ”. 9 The Lord and Savior Christ Jesus said – “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit 6 says to the churches.” 10 Many believers in among you conscience spoiled and they are not able to recognize the vo- ice of the Holy Spirit in their inn- er being. 11 See that your hearts may be cleansed by the blood of the Lord. Have good conscience in order to consider yourselves as 3 Num 24:3; 4 Acts 10:10;
