The X1D is equipped with an electronic view finder, EVF for
short and we understand why Hasselblad implemented this
into the X1D to keep its very stylish compact format. However,
I found it to be a little sluggish while using it, but others in
the office didn’t find it too much of an issue, the EVF is only
activated when you put your eye to the viewfinder via a built-in
sensor or it will display the image in “Live View” mode on the
LCD screen.
Overall I found the Hasselblad X1D to be a great camera with
outstanding image quality, beautiful build quality and stylish
design that would suit any photographer wanting to upgrade to
medium format or for an already established medium format
shooter, looking for a lighter option to take while traveling or
while out for an evening stroll.
