A Celebration of Time Summit
As an epitome of Swiss Excellence, Vacheron Constantin
celebrated its Watchmaking Excellence Exhibition lasting
from June 7th to June 11th. The Swiss Manufacture de Haute
Horlogerie with over 260 years of uninterrupted history has
brought Reference 57260, and a series of high complication
timepieces to the Atrium of MixCity Shenzhen, China. The
exhibition also made Reference 57260’s debut in South China,
offering the opportunity for watch collectors, lovers and public
to view this masterpiece like no other.
The exhibition was a demonstration of mechanical wonders
and sophisticated craftsmanship reflected by selected high
complication pieces from Traditionnelle Collection, and
artistic masterpieces from Metiers d’Art Collection, and
ultimately, Reference 57260.
Christian Selmoni, Artistic Director of Vacheron Constantin,
along with Chinese watch expert and critic Ding Zhixiang
joined an exclusive dinner with guests for introducing the
“number codes” of Reference 57260 and insights of other
masterpieces presented.
During the dinner, they presented the fact that the Vacheron
Constantin had a great heritage of making prestigious creations
of high complications, and also a long tradition of creating on-
demand watches for its watch passionate clients, from “King
Farouk” to Tour de l’Ile to the latest Reference 57260, the list
will go on and on. The hero piece of the event - Reference 57260
- is a custom-made unique piece with 8 years of development
by 3 in-house master watchmakers, who were already behind
of the Tour de l’Ile & Les Cabinotiers team.
