Sven Cycles Bicycle Range 2017 Wayfarer: For 2017 Sven Cycles will be producing a range of stock bikes based on the most popular models of bespoke bikes we have made in the last 5 years. Streamlining the production process and only offering standard sizes and specification along with bulk purchase of components means we can produce hand built bicycles at a fraction of the cost of a fully bespoke bike. All frames, wheels and bikes are built and painted in our Weymouth workshop. Roadster: Reynolds 631 frame, TIG welded 650B wheels Disc Brakes Internal hub gearing Upright riding position Designed as a super commuter or upright touring bike. Very stable while still being nimble enough for modern city use. Will carry luggage on front porteur rack and/or standard rear rack. Light off-road use with change of tyres. Two frame types – diamond or step through. Two gearing options – 8 speed Shimano Alfine or 14 speed Rohloff. Target owners: Roadster 8 – urban and countryside commuters, light touring. Roadster 14 – urban and countryside commuters, touring, riders looking for an upright touring bike. Upgrades: Hub dynamo and lighting set Stainless steel mudguards Brooks saddle options Reynolds 853 frame, TIG welded 700c wheels Disc brakes Internal hub gearing Drop or flat handlebars A modern traditional, English style light tourer. Faster geometry than the Roadster, designed around a drop handlebar position but will allow for flat bars if required. Luggage carrying on rear rack, front lowrider and saddle bag.
