If you live on Lanzarote, New Year offers a moment to be
thankful for what you´ve got and make plans for new days,
new adventures and new challenges.
It´s hard not to bless your good fortune when the sun comes
streaming through your window almost every morning,
bringing with it optimism, warmth and promise. And even if
there is the odd grey day, the sun is never far away on this
perfect little island.
Some of those who live here actually relish those cooler days –
for once the temptations of the beach, the pool and the
sun-lounger are not so strong and you can actually buckle
down and get on with some important work.
And you can get on with it with a calm conscience and a
contented heart - you know that the fine times will be back
soon. On Lanzarote, they’re never too far away
