You´re in
Resolutions
don´t have to be a big
deal. They’re all about
thinking about yourself,
and your lifestyle, and
making those changes
that you think are
possible.
Talk about it
Always share your experiences with family and
friends. Consider joining a support group to reach
your goals, such as a workout class at your gym or
a group of friends quitting smoking. Having people
to share your struggles and successes with makes
your journey to a healthier lifestyle that much easier
and less intimidating.
Don’t be self-critical
You´ll never be perfect - but you could be pretty
damn good. Remember that minor stumbles when
reaching your goals are completely normal. Don’t
give up completely just because you ate a few
cupcakes and broke your diet, skipped the gym for
a week because you were busy or even
succumbed to a swift social ciggie. Pick yourself
up, brush yourself down and start all over again

Keep in
control
Your brain is your most important
and powerful organ, so use it. if you
feel temptation, think coolly about
what you´ve achieved and what you
stand to lose. Don´t dramatise small
setbacks, don´t turn yourself into a
victim who needs a special treat or a
goodie-goodie who deserves that
special reward (not until you´ve
reached your goal).
Stay in control, and you´ll discover
that will power, like muscular power,
is something that can be developed
and strengthened simply by using it.
Like your muscles, your mind can also
do unbelievable feats of strength.
