LOOKING GOOD
Hamilton takes the “Michael
Schumacher turn” as he
drives his Mercedes car
“I feel that what we have done in
these days testing has been important for
making sure that we have a car that can
not only get to the end of the race, but
that will have good performance as well.”
Massa’s teammate Valtteri Bottas
confirmed Williams’ strong pace, finishing week two with the fourth-best time
just 0.729secs slower than his partner.
In between the Williams pair were
Mercedes stars Lewis Hamilton and
Rosberg.
Hamilton set the pace on week two’s
fourth and final day to help Mercedes
underline their status as the undisputed
pre-season favourites.
His best lap was two-hundredths of a
second off of Massa’s time.

Perez is sixth fastest
“This has definitely been the most
challenging winter I’ve experienced
and the car is still very much a work
in progress, but we’ve learnt a lot over
the course of these last few weeks and
overall it’s been a good winter of testing for us,” said Hamilton.
“There’s so much to learn with
these new cars; it’s just mind-blowing
and I don’t think anybody can be fully
ready for the challenge of this season.
But I feel as ready as I can be and I’m
looking forward to seeing where we
are in Melbourne.”
Rosberg was 0.226s off of Massa’s
pace as third-quickest. 8
