Massa registers the best time overall
in the eight days of testing in Bahrain
W
illiams F1 driver Felipe Massa topped the
lap times during the final four-day session of
Formula One pre-season testing at Bahrain
International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir, held February
27 to March 2.
The Brazilian clocked
a fastest lap of one minute
33.258 seconds on the penultimate day of action, raising the
bar for the rest of the field.
His mark was also the best
time overall in the eight total
days of running in Bahrain,
earning Williams an emphatic
finish and giving his team a
boost in confidence ahead of
the first round of the 2014 FIA
Formula One World Championship in Australia in midMarch.
“We did a lot more
performance work in the car
which is something that we
haven’t done so much of so
far,” Massa said. “I’m really
