illiams are likely the outsiders amongst
the so-called “contenders” heading into
the 2014 Formula One season.
One of the sport’s most decorated teams, Williams have had a rough past few years.
But after setting the fastest lap for the entire
pre-season testing, things are looking up for the
squad, and they have a formidable driver partnership in Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas that is
capable of turning things around.
“I’m really happy to be with Williams,” said
Massa, who has made the switch after eight illustrious years with Ferrari.
“Really enjoying the working now, to feel the
car and the working. It’s a lot to do. You can never
forget that it was a very difficult time for Williams
in the last years and it’s a lot to do, a lot of work,
a lot of development going on inside the factory,
inside the team. So many new people arriving –
including me.
