Celebrate all things Spring with Mayfest!
While exploring Downtown Frederick during
First Saturday, you will find a large variety
of unique galleries, shops and restaurants!
Enjoy late note shopping, dining, live music,
and this month, a few special ways to keep
spring full swing! May 7
All pilgrims are welcome to celebrate
Mass at noon. After mass, there will
be a processional outside to crown the
Pangborn Campanile Of Our Lady with a
floral crown. Confession will be available
prior to Mass and anyone can donate in
memory or in honor of a loved one towards
a rose for Mary, the Mother of God. May 12
Stroll down Main Street and meet local
artists from Frederick County. Sip wine
samplings from our local wineries and
listen to local entertainment on the square.

Maryland Craft Beer Festival
May 13
Over 25 Maryland brewing companies will
be on-hand sampling over 175 unique,
local beers. Attendees will have exclusive
access to small-batch beers, one-of-a-kind
casks; all in a family-friendly environment
with live music featuring local bluegrass/
Americana/folk music. Goods from artisan
vendors, as well as fresh, local foods will
be available for purchase.

Bark in the Park
May 13
Enjoy an afternoon with your furry,
four-legged friend, at the Frederick County
Parks and Recreation annual Bark in the
Park. Your pooch will have an opportunity
to run free in one of our off-leash areas,
test and sharpen his or her skills on the
agility course, participate in doggie fashion
show, and make new friends. Opportunities
for families to adopt a dog.
