“Let’s just say, Parkinson’s runs in my family.
And I’m running to find a cure. I am honored
and happy to be running with Team Fox. The
Foundation is only 19 years old but I’ve seen
what they’ve been able to do for those impacted
by Parkinson’s and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

“In 2013, I vowed to run the
Boston Marathon for those
who couldn't before my 40th
birthday. But life threw some
wrenches, including an injury
and the loss of my father, who
lived with Parkinson’s. When
Team Fox received bibs for April
2019, I knew that I had to revive
my dream. And, get this — the
race is two weeks before my
40th birthday and just days after
the five-year anniversary of my
father's death. This is an incredibly
special race for me.”
“I think it’s very easy to feel
alone and to not want to reveal a
weakness. But, when we started
telling our friends and family that
my father has Parkinson’s, it was
obvious that everyone’s heart
is with him. I wrote the name of
every person who donated on
my Team Fox jersey as a way to
show my father that we’re with
him throughout this journey. And
that no one has to go through this
alone.”
