A Word From

the Head of School

We have just celebrated Thankfulness Week at VIS and we are all very thankful for our school still being open and the efforts of our staff, students and parents who have supported the initiatives and adapted to the many changes that we had to put into place this academic year.

This year there has been a particular need to address the well-being of everyone in our community as we have been required to be resilient and adapt to constant changes. It has not been easy and we have had to dig deep on occasion, to handle the stress that comes with the anxiety around COVID, self-isolation and concern for loved ones. However, our students are still thriving within these complex circumstances, as we have explored work-arounds to the many requirements of their education. Teachers have found ways to be creative and challenge our students whether at school or at home so they can continue on the VIS learning journey.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this scholastic year work so far.

Stay safe and well,

.
