Read on for a more in depth look at what our Middle School students have been up to this semester.

For the Big Idea of Tradition, Grade 7 students paid homage to our host country of Malta. Students partook in 3 Maltese activities; to begin with they played a traditional Maltese game of Bocci with the PE department, followed by a Maltese lesson with Ms. Vella McIntyre. The Entry point concluded with students looking at the patterns of Maltese tiles before designing and painting their own in our seating area under the trees.

Grade 8 students completed a personality test as part of their Identity Entry Point, and based on their answers were assigned an animal that best represented them. Using an art medium of their choice they were able to bring that animal alive to truly represent their own identity. It was great to see so many creative and unique pieces of artwork from the cohort!

Grade 6 have just started their second BIG IDEA of the year: Balance. Their Entry Point focused on Balancing their bodies and minds through yoga led by Ms Krista, and the use of mindful colouring to draw students attention into the present moment.
