Nevertheless, Paula Marie and Anastasia stood out above all others. Both these girls demonstrated in their journey the exact characteristics of the IB learner profile: Being principled, being an inquirer, being knowledgeable, being a thinker, a good communicator, open-minded, caring, courageous, balanced and reflective--overall being a well-rounded authentic learner in the world! They are the most outstanding diamonds that shine with the spirit of the IB.
Verdala International School was very pleased to present Paula and Anastasia with this award. Make us feel as proud in the future as you have in the past and now in the present. Your path will be forever also our path.
For two years, all our IB Graduates were courageous pioneers, who dedicated a lot of effort and sacrifice to overcome each of the tough academic, ethical and social tests that were presented to them. Indeed, they all deserve our admiration and recognition. It is not easy to emerge victorious from the challenges of the IB Diploma which represents the most demanding high-school trend in the world, made of the most rigorous educational standards that can be found.
