Sports Highlights
December 2019, our u13 and u16 tennis players competed in the interschool competition. The boys performed well on Friday, with some very close games in which they lost narrowly. Alex Kaye and Thomas Christmas made up our u13 team with Liam Chilton and Winfield Hock participating in the u16 comp.
Our girls gave an excellent account of themselves with Cherilyn Christmas and Louise Holmberg winning the u13 team trophy. Cherilyn also won individual 1st place in the u13 competition. The u16 team of Francesca Kaye and Malak Alhoush came 3rd overall.
This was an excellent result for our first time competing in this interschool and we look forward to more success in the future.

Dec 19 of our students from grade 5 to grade 9 participated in the interschool cross country competition at Marsa. Considering the weather conditions, the runners did very well and enjoyed their run. The Primary boys and girls race was 1km, the Cadets boys and girls and the Youth girls, had 2km, while the Youth boys has 3.5km.
All students represented the school very well and the Primary boys' team got 4th place. This was an impressive result considering the large number of participants.
Well done to all the runners!
Dec 2019 , our Grade 10 and 11 girls football team played a friendly game with QSI here in Verdala. Our girls played really well together and it was a great learning experience for them all. Our team came out on top on a scoreline 2-1 with Maria Cassar-Torreggiani scoring both goals. Well done to all the girls and thanks to Laurens Shultz-Doring and Finley Gratil for their assistance coaching.
Weekend starts early at Verdala as every Friday morning at 815am we have our weekly dance party. This year we have been blessed with lots of sunshine and no sessions were cancelled cause of bad weather. Special thanks to Ms. Galya and Mr. Michael for choosing the latest songs and best choreography to start the weekend vibe. A big well done to all the parents and kids that join in the party! Reminder that this is open for everyone!!
