"Every individual thing is affected by other things."

Students spent a morning listening to speakers from the Maghtab refuse site. They learnt about the life cycles of different types of products, the problems associated with waste, and the importance of reusing and recycling products.

Students then took part in an activity to create a ‘Top Trumps’ game to showcase what they had found out about the products they use everyday.

Throughout the morning, students were encouraged to think about their relationships with the products they use and how the use of each impacts the environment.

"The ability to make money through development of products and situations appropriate to different markets requires application of certain skills."

Student visited the temples of Hagar Qim. Whilst at the site of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra they were given a tour and explanation of the temples by their History teacher Ms. Farrugia, and began to think innovatively of how to provide solutions to problems such as “how were the temples constructed ~3000years ago without today’s technology”. Many businesses also now operate around Hagar Qim, providing students with a more modern view of entrepreneurship in action; making money in the present by utilising temples of the past.
