Year 12 students have had a very busy time in Chemistry, completing their IA;s and preparing for their final exams. Chemistry has a lot of practicals associated with it and many are required ones, set by the IB exam board. This has been an advantage as the students have continually built up their analytical techniques and have been able to plan, construct and draw conclusions from their data and then use this to evaluate the process. This is excellent preparation for the next step in their education, many of them going on to study a Science related course at University.
