Science Department Highlights
As part of Big Idea of Adaptability, Grade 6 students went on a field trip to Dingli Cliffs and Buskett Garden to observe how animals and plants are adapted to their habitat.
As part of the Big Idea of Entrepreneurship, our Grade 8 students are working on a project proposal to conserve water at school. To gain a better understanding of water conservation in Malta, students went on a field trip to Għajn: The National Water Conservation Awareness Centre.
In Middle School Science classes, students are being challenged to use the Engineering Design Cycle to solve problems humans face. Our Grade 7 students designed a Thermos Flask to keep liquid hot and our Grade 6 students designed a catapult .
