With nearly twenty students having started this September and waiting lists in place, we will be looking to extend the programme over the course of the next semester. In addition, we will also be looking at adding more instruments to the list of those already on offer.

In other musical news, the Grade 8’s took part in a very special djembe drumming workshop led by Peter Paul Galea, one of the leading members of Tribali. Tribali are an internationally renowned Maltese born band that focus on ethnic rhythms and instruments from all over the world and through this fantastic workshop, Peter Paul helped to further extend the Grade 8’s understanding of African music by giving them first hand experience of playing it.
