HIGH SCHOOL

High School Bonding Day Trip

On friday we went to the limestone heritage. I called it the best field trip ever. We went to the place to play 8 medieval games. The games actually gave me ideas of what the medieval era was like(although there were no bouncy castles or cardboard back then). The first challenge was to make a cardboard horse that stands. I gave it zebra stripes and it made me think about trojan horses.

The second thing was called ‘pole jousting’ and we had to use a pole shaped object to ‘fight’ with them, I lost all 3 times. The third task was called ‘arm the slingshot’, we had to use a large catapult to fire a tennis ball into a bin. The first time I fired I nearly got it. The fourth game was called ‘pin the knight’ we had to wear a blindfold and put a magnet on a knight, although I didn’t do it. Snack was a really good time. I watched 4 donkeys, the most handsome goat I ever saw, his 2 girlfriends, and a fat pig.

The next thing we did was a horseshoe toss. I loved it. After that we did a knight’s relay race, we had to run back and forth in knight’s clothing. First we went to get more, then we went to give one item back, the knight trousers were not the best thing ever. Next we had to dodge fake hammers and a sand bag, the game was fun but I only made it halfway through. The last game was called ‘bocci’ and we had to toss a sphere and make it hit an orange ball. That was hard. During our lunch break I told teachers it was the best trip ever. We weren’t allowed to go where the donkeys were at lunch but it wasn’t a problem because I could see them from where I was but Miss Sam let me take a photo of them. We soon learnt that team yellow(my team) won.

Yay! On our way to the bus I had thoughts about telling everyone I knew. On our way back, I looked at my

pictures(as well as

testing silly bird

ringtones) and was

really proud of

what my team

achieved, I called

it the best day

ever. I was so

happy I told mum

immediately and

messaged my

uncle about it.
