Hello my name is Mr. Wysoczanski, I am originally from Leeds in the UK. For the last two years I have been working in El Salvador at the British School here in San Salvador. Prior to this I was based in Tanzania, in Mwanza, which is a city on the edge of Lake Victoria. Outside of teaching I am interested in most sports, I play football, squash and tennis at least once a week. Other than playing and watching sports I like being outdoors, hiking or cycling and generally enjoying nature. I look forward to becoming a part of the Verdala community as a Secondary English Teacher.

Originally from South Louisiana, USA, I have lived and worked in many destinations abroad. I am currently the Librarian at AISA in Algeria. What can I say, I love the adventure! Besides being dedicated to making a change in school life, education, I love being outdoors doing such things as water sports, hiking, biking. I enjoy reading, my favorite genres are traditional stories, non-fiction. I also dabble in art. These are just a few of my favorite things. I am super excited to join the VIS team as the new Elementary Edtech Teacher/Librarian!

I first lived in Malta as a child and loved it so I’m delighted to be back. I first worked as a teacher when I was 32 and have taught in the UK, Egypt and Malta. At VIS I will be an Elementary Teacher. I’ve taught all ages from 5 – 14 as a class teacher and also in Special Needs. Previously to that, I had a variety of jobs which included working in the motor trade, being a lifeguard and, my favourite, serving in the British army in The Royal Artillery. Amongst my many interests I like to ride my motorbikes, I enjoy walking and (knee permitting) running, swimming, cooking, socialising and I’m an active member of my church.

Nathan Tipton

My name is Nate Tipton and I’m excited to be serving as the new Elementary Counsellor at Verdala! I am coming to Malta with my family after spending a few glorious years at an international school in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Prior to that, I worked in South Korea for several years. My hometown is Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. I mostly enjoy spending time with my family. I have a wonderful wife of nine years, Muyoung, and two daughters-Cambree and Lyla. We enjoy time in nature, reading books, telling jokes, trying new cuisine, language learning, watching movies, drawing, playing various musical instruments, and indulging in long weekend naps. I really look forward to getting to know all of you!

I moved to Malta in January with my dog Tux, he is 5 years old and a puggle. He's one of the main reasons I decided to move to Malta so I could have a better work-life balance and spend more time with him.

I am origianlly from Wales but for the past 12 years have been living and working in London as a Science Teacher and Curriculum Director. When I'm not working I like to travel, gym and I'm a big movie fan. I like eating out and have been trying out lots of restaurants in Malta since I arrived in January. Looking forward to meeting everyone in September.
