Pi Day Activities – March 14th
10th Malta Mathematics Olympiad
On Tuesday, April 2nd, four of our Grade 9 students competed in the biennial Malta Mathematics Olympiad: Ahmed Al-Sadi, Molly Butler, Maria Cassar Torregiani and Jacopo Chincoli. The competition was in three rounds: the individual round, a pairs round, and then the team round. They practiced all year for the event, and it was a great experience.
Gifted and Talented Mathematics Activities
The Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes for the Maltese Department of Education organized four sessions of Mathematics Activities for Gifted and Talented Students. These activities were intended for students who have a keen interest and aptitude in Mathematics.
We had four Grade 9 students who attended these sessions: Ahmed Al-Sadi, Maria Cassar Torregiani, Joseph Edginton and Junsu Park.
