The scrub side of the court is exactly what it sounds like . It is the place where the people who weren ' t very good ( scrubs ) played .
GRANDFATHER WHO MADE IT You had to develop your game to play at the other end of the court . It was like a D League in the NBA . If you could play well POSSIBLE FOR ME TO BE A PROUD enough to get " called up " when a player was needed , then
CLASS OF 76 GRADUATE . I BELIEVE you got your shot to play with the " good guys " on the other end of the court .

Ravenell was a good guy . In my mind , the best I saw , but David Batson was a monster and might have been the best too . I heard legendary stories about a guy named Thaddeus Sidberry , but never saw him play . I could name a few others , but these guys stood out as the absolute best .
If I were a scout , I would have paid their tuition to attend PFA in a scholarship . During my first year , tuition was somewhere south of $ 200 monthly . Today the tuition is nearly $ 2,000 monthly .
Pine Forge Academy changed my life . My dream has been to provide a scholarship , in my grandfather ' s name to give back to a great place , doing great things , which today is experiencing a great burden to continue to provide an excellent education for young people .
By the way , my basketball ability developed to a high level AFTER leaving " The Forge " and playing ball in the military and college . I will embellish this story in my book , " Billionaire , the Story of My Life ", subtitled , " A Scrub No More ".
WHAT GOD CAN DO Our class motto was “ Aim high to set your goals and spare no pain to reach them ”, or something very close to that . With tuition at nearly $ 2K monthly , many worthy students would never attend PFA . The only reason we do not access the wealth laid up outside of the confines of the PFA family is because WE do not go get it . Let ’ s put our minds together and “ GO GET IT ”. Before Joshua “ took ” the land , God said he “ Gave it to him ”. Let ’ s “ GO GET IT ” and bless more children with access to a great education .
