here are almost 2100 members here at the Float Tube Fishing Forum so lets do some quick math 2100 members pick up 3 lbs of trash once a week. That means we could remove 6,300 lbs of trash a week, and over 25,000 a month, and well over 300,000 lbs a year. By removing trash from our waterways we are helping our environment,as well as the wild life which in some cases takes the hardest hit with pollution. One person can make a difference and it starts with you. And 2100 can make a strong difference so what are we waiting for,. Let’s make a difference not only for the wildlife in our outdoor retreats, but helping to save our favorite fishing spots for the next generations of fishermen.
SP Dan shared this he found a Bird setting on a rope tied to a dock in the harbor. Something did not look right and on closer observation
He could see that the bird was tied up with Monofilament fishing line left behind from a fishermen. The bird got caught in the line and some how tied his leg up to the rope. He was cut lose and seemed to be OK.
