deflate your float tube. So it seems the valve does not seem to have many downfalls in fact I think overall it looks to be a pretty good choice.

The next valve to discuss is the Summit and the Summit 2 valve. In these valves I have not had much experience with so I will do my best to explain them. These are basically a 2 piece one way valve, typically found on pontoon boats. A big plus I am hearing is they are very inexpensive to replace and are very easy to use. They also are very easy to clean and or replace. Very simply with a special wrench you can unscrew and completely disassemble the valve from the bladder. The few downfalls I can are one you cannot mix the summit valve with the Summit 2 valve, as they can not work together. Two they require that

special wrench to open and close the valve as well as to remove them from the bladder. Overall the summit valves seems to be a pretty good valve to use.

These valves discussed are just a few of what are out there, but are the more common. When looking into purchasing a new float tube or upgrading to a new float tube or Pontoon boat, you now have a little more understanding of what you getting into as well as what it takes to keep you floating on the water.
