Nevertheless, the core spaces were protected and the life of the Fields Institute at the University of Toronto began. And finally, as an architect I have been privileged to work with great purpose together with the academics and administrators of a few of the great universities. These experiences profoundly shape our lives. Working together with Bill Shadwick and the entire Fields Institute team was an honour that I cherish to this day.
