Simone : Its hard to isolate three specific exercises but if I had to choose only three that were surf specific I would say 1 ) Superman lifts / Superman pushups ( depending on your level ) as this will help with a strong core for popping up on your board as well as all the maneuverability required in surfing 2 ) Pull ups ( for strong shoulders and back ) 3 ) rope climbs ( in all its glorious forms ! for strong lats , arms , back and core !!!)
Feral : So describe for us your personal workout week and what are your fitness goals for 2017 ?
Simone : I train at least once a day either working out with one of our advanced classes or I do my own workout specific to current events we are training for . These workouts involve pull ups , chin ups , L-sits , progressions for human and dragon flags and muscle ups ! We do pistol squats , rock climbing and bar traversing with monkey swings and single arm
