The Fashion Identity 11) A myth / miscon- ception you wish to change on MAKE UP for women? Ans) The common myth is with the lighter color foundation; face looks beautiful. It's hard to convince that beauty is not the skin tone but the features. I have seen and worked with models with warm tone, and sharp features look gor- geous when makeup is applied right way. 12) A Personality on whom you would love to try out your Make Up Skills on? Ans) There are many gorgeous actresses. However, if I ever get a chance, I would love to do makeup on Madhuri Dixit. 13) What is that one thing about MAKE UP that you really love that made you take it up as a Professional Career? Which age did you discover your talent in this industry? Ans) Every face is beautiful in their own way. Most im- portant thing about makeup, you can be cre- ative with different looks and enhance the most beautiful feature of the model with the help of makeup. Since the age of fifteen, I started playing with makeup, and I used to apply it to family/friends in family functions and used to create looks with lipsticks and eyeshadows on myself. But the real journey into makeup industry started ten years ago with the support of my mentor Jasmine Shah, a well-established dance teacher in New England, who have always sup- ported me in every step of my way towards my goal.
