Environment, Geoff Earl, is reminding farmers and farm
workers to Look up it's Live: "Every single year in the UK
drivers of agricultural equipment are killed and many more
are injured when their vehicle or plant comes into contact
or gets too close to power lines.
"Overhead cables on wood poles can be carrying anything
up to 132,000 volts. Be conscious of power lines when
working and make sure anyone working on your land is
aware of where these power lines are and the potentially
fatal consequence of getting too close or hitting them."
Make sure you know what to do in an emergency.
